Jharkhand batting first at Narendra Modi Stadium A in Motera, Ahmedabad made a total of 215/5 in 20 overs. Opener Virat Singh who has been in excellent form this season continued his terrific run with the bat as he top scored in the match with a brilliant 69 off 36 balls. Virat counter attacked from the word go smashing 4 boundaries and 5 sixes. This is Virat’s 3rd half century in SMAT this season with his previous scores being 72 vs Tamil Nadu and 69 vs Rajasthan. Apart from him Kumar Kushagra (55 runs) and Robin Minz (58 runs) also smashed crucial half centuries.

Rajasthan in reply were all out for 179 runs in 19.2 overs with Anukul Roy and Sushant Mishra bagging 3wkts each as Jharkhand won the match by 36 runs.
