Alsaadh Sheikh’s gritty half century goes in vain for Macho Cricket Academy in Macho One Day Cup’25

Mumbai Cricket Club after being put to bat first at Cross Maidan in Mumbai made a total of 281/6 in 38 overs. Opener Divyansh Saxena (79 runs), Diyan (50 runs) and Ayaz Khan (79 runs) top scored for their teams with half centuries. From the bowlers, Riday Khadke with 2 wkts was the pick of the lot.

Macho Cricket Academy in reply were all out for 197 runs in 38.5 overs with their no.3 batter Alsaadh Sheikh being the top scorer. Alsaadh scored a fighting half century when wickets were falling from other end as he scored 55 off 80 balls which included 4 boundaries in it. Alsaadh was well supported by Riday Khandke with whom they stitched 67 runs partnership for 3rd wicket.

Ultimately Macho CC fell short by 84 runs as Mumbai Cricket Club won the match. Divyaansh Saxena for his knock of 79 runs was declared ‘man of the match”
