Cricket Explained Academy opting to bat first at Azad Maidan in Mumbai made a decent total on board putting up 166/8 in 30 overs. Openers Advik and Sumedh gave a positive start to the innings putting up 53 runs for the first wicket. After losing their 3 and 4 early, Cricket Explained resurrected quickly with the help of their no.5 batter Vedas Ghate who scored a crucial innings of 43 runs in 56 balls which included 4 boundaries and a six. Vedas was also well supported by Neeraj with whom he stitched 65 runs stand for the 5th wicket.
Mumbai Sports Club in reply were all out for just 41 runs in 17.5 overs as Cricket Explained bowlers did an excellent job with the ball. Aarambh Patil was the pick of the lot taking 3 wickets while Athang and Anurag scalping 2 wickets a piece.
Cricket Explained Academy won the match by 125 runs, Vedas Ghate was declared “Player of the Match”
