Sinhagad Lions after being put to bat first were not off to best of the starts with scoreboard reading 35/3 and 57/4 at one stage until Manish and Nikhil Jain at the middle order pulled off a 156 run partnership for 5th wicket to change the course of the game. Manish coming at no.3 scored 81 runs off 51 balls while Nikhil Jain who came at no.6 played a blinder of an innings to take their team to a 200+ total. Nikhil top scored in the match with 83* off 47 balls which included 10 boundaries and 3 sixes ensuring a great batting display in the death overs.
Pratapgad Royals in reply were all out for 168 runs in 19.2 overs with Manish owning the day with the ball too. Manish returned with an excellent spell of 4/31 in 4 overs including some key top order wickets as Sinhagad Lions won the match by 45 runs.
