HDFC Bank Captain Amey Bothare who practices at Nirvana Cricket Academy bags a fifer in RBI Bank Shield’25

Played at Government Law College Wicket, Oval Maidan, HDFC Bank Sports Club after being put to bat first made a total of 96/8 in 8 overs. Opener Yash Chajjar scored 48 runs off 23 balls which included 7 boundaries. From Abhyudaya Bank, Mangesh Shinde with 2/17 was the pick of the lot.

Abhyudaya Bank Sports Club in reply were restricted to 39 runs all out in 7.5 overs thanks to a magnificent spell by Captain Amey Bothare. Amey who practices at Nirvana Cricket Academy in South Mumbai has been the skipper of HDFC Team since last 8 years and he led from the front taking 5/5 in 1.5 overs. Such was the brilliance of his bowling, he took 5 wkts in mere 11 balls which is every 2nd ball he bowled resulted in a wicket as HDFC Bank Sports Club won the match by 57 runs.
