CCI opener Rudra Dhanday smashes a solid 58 in A Division Kanga League’24

Cricket Club of India after being put to bat first at the iconic Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai made 222/7 in 49 overs in their first innings powered by two half centuries by Rudra Dhanday and Akash Parkar. Rudra Dhanday opening the innings set the tone with a very solid looking 58 off 97 balls which included 6 boundaries and a six while also stitching an important 71 run stand for the 2nd wicket with Akash Anand. Akash Parkar came in at no.5 and delivered the finishing punch with an unbeaten 58*

Victory Cricket Club in reply 173/7 in 28 overs with fast bowler Badrey Alam returning with 4 wkts for CCI being the pick of the lot. Victory CC batted for 28 overs before the end of the game’s play where match ended in draw with no first innings result.
