Vivaan bags an impressive fifer as Modern English School in the ongoing Harris Shield Tournament’25

Played at Western Railways, Cross Maidan, Rizvi Springfield High School after being put to bat first were all out for 169 runs in 36.1 overs.  MES bowlers did an amazing job not allowing any batters to settle down especially Vivaan Jobanputra who led from the front with a scathing fifer. Vivaan returned with exceptional bowling performance of 5/74 in 16 overs including 2 maidens which made all the difference in the match.

Modern English School U16 Team under Achievers Cricket Academy chased down the score successfully winning the match by 2 wkts. Opener Aryan Kamble anchored the chase with a gritty knock of 71 runs in 79 balls (9 boundaries and 3 sixes) while he was ably supported by Vyom who scored 40 off 38 balls. When MES had lost some quick wickets, Shashwat Naik coming at no.9 released off the pressure with a quick cameo of 25* off 13 balls which included 3 boundaries and a six as Modern English School won the match by 2 wkts.
