Vikrant Auti registers a match winning 134 for Parsee Gymkhana in Quarter Finals of Young Comrade Shield’24

Vikrant Auti – one of the senior pros of Parsee Gymkhana team and one of the consistent performers in Mumbai Cricket continues to knock the doors of Mumbai Team this time with a sublime hundred in the Quarter finals of Young Comrade Shield vs Sind Sports Club.

Parsee Gymkhana opting to bat first on their homeground made a massive total of 519/4 in 70 overs with Nutan Goel and Vikrant Auti spanking brilliant centuries. Nutan scored 136 off 99 balls while Vikrant scored 134 off 114 balls which included 10 boudaries and 6 sixes. Vikrant also stitched two crucial stands, first stitching 174 run opening stand with Kevin Almeida (88 runs) and then 106 run stand with Nutan Goel. Ishan Mulchandani and Sachin Yadav also smashed crucial half centuries at the middle order.

Sind Sports Club in reply were all out for 245 runs in 48.4 overs as Parsee Gymkhana bowlers did an impressive job with the ball with Siddarth Raut leading from the front taking 5/88 in 13 overs. Parsee Gymkhana won the quarter finals by 274 runs and now qualify into the semi-finals of the tournament.
