Vikrant Auti packs a punch with a crucial half century for Mumbai Customs in ‘A’ Division Times Shield’24

Tata Sports Club after being put to bat first at RCF Ground in Chembur made a total of 221/10 in their first innings with Gaurish Jadhav at the middle order top scoring with 87 runs. The bowlers did an impressive job with Dhanit Raut taking 3 wkts while Aiswarya and Parag Khanapurkar bagging 2 wkts each.

Mumbai Customs in reply scored 227 runs in 64.1 overs in their 1st innings with their left-handed opener Vikrant Auti setting up the base with a crucial knock of 59 runs in 89 balls smashing 8 boundaries and 2 sixes. Vikrant also stitched an important partnership with Sachin Yadav (35 runs) and Prasad Pawar scoring 60 at the middle order. Skipper Parag K at no.7 also chipped in with 44 runs.

Tata Sports Club in 2nd innings scored 241/5 in 33.4 overs with half centuries by Siddhant Adhatrao and Chinmay Sutar.  Mumbai Customs in 2nd innings batted for 55 overs before the end of the game’s play where they concluded their 2nd innings at 156/4 and winning the match on 1st innings lead over Tata Sports Club.
