Hrishikesh Puranik’s Cricket Explained Academy seems to be on a roll with back to back wins in their ongoing Bengaluru Tour. Their 2nd match was played vs Eagles at Sachin 5 Ground in Anekal with Eagles winning the toss and opting to bat first.

Cricket Explained Academy scored 119/10 in 29 overs with Neeraj Girase’s 19 runs being the highest score. Defending a total of 120 runs. CE bowlers once again led from the front not allowing the opposition to settle down or take it easy.

Vedhas Ghate bowled a game changing spell reducing the opposition in two figures as he came up with excellent bowling figures of 6/5 in 5 overs including 3 maidens. Vedhas took key top and middle order wickets dismantling Eagles Batting line up as Cricket Explained Academy won the match by 25 runs.

Founder and Head Coach Hrishikesh shared “Vedhas Ghate has been a promising allrounder in Mumbai Cricket circuit. He has done exceedingly well in various U12 tournaments across Mumbai. With the ball and also with the bat he has turned matches on his own and performed under pressure in crucial encounters. He was a fast bowler when he joined our academy, we turned him into a left arm spinner who bats in the middle order”
