Upendar’s 24 ball 49 goes in vain for Rose and Crown CC in VPCCL Tournament’23

Uppendar Reddy Cricketer

London Eagles batting first at Victoria Park, London made a strong total to defend scoring 186/4 in 14 overs. Most of the bowlers went for a beating apart from Mandu who looked impressive in his spell of 3/29 in 3 overs.

Chasing 187, Rose and Crown CC did manage to put on a tough fight but eventually fell short of 26 runs. Upendar Reddy who came at no.3 looked dangerous to finish the game at one stage before he was finally dismissed on a quickfire 49 off just 24 balls wherein he smashed 7 boundaries. Apart from Upendar, Chris (39 runs), Nag (26 runs) and Charlie (26*) also provided handy cameos.

Result: London Eagles won by 26 runs
