Upendar Reddy and Vidyarthi ensure a commanding win for Rose and Crown CC in VPCCL Tournament’23

Played at Victoria Park Ground in UK, Rose and Crown opting to bat first in the all important quarter finals made a total of 165/4 in 16 overs. Openers Upendar (48 runs) and Pat (40 runs) gave a brilliant start as both the players chipped in with quick 40’s. Upendar scored 48 off mere 24 balls smashing 7 fours and a six while Vidyarthi who came at no.3 remained unbeaten on 51* as Rose and Crown reached a more than decent total on board.

In reply, London Eagles could only muster 85/7 in 9.3 overs as Rose and Crown won the Quarter finals by 75 runs. Chris with 3/34 was the pick of the lot while Joe took 2 wkts. Upendar also chipped in with a wicket making it an all-round contribution as he picked 1/6 in just 3 balls he bowled before the match ended in Rose and Crown’s favor.
