United Patni into the finals while Abhijeet Rohandiya’s crucial 64 goes in vain in semi-finals of Insurance Shield’25

Into the all important semi-finals of the match, Group Satellite Developers opting to bat first at National CC, Cross Maidan made a total of 132/7 in 20 overs. Abhijeet Rohandiya opening the innings was the top scorer in the match scoring a crucial knock of 64 runs in 51 balls. Abhijeet smashed 7 boundaries and a six and kept the scoreboard ticking even when wickets were falling from the other end. From the bowlers, Sandesh Koli with 3/18 was the pick of the lot. Harshvardhan also bowled well taking 2/28 in 3 overs.

United Patni chased down the total successfully crossing the victory line in the final 20th over. Even though United lost their openers early, all-rounder Harshvardhan scored a gritty 35 off 33 balls coming at no.3. Arman Pathan (26 runs) and Husain Shaikh (30* runs) at no.7 and 8 stitched a very crucial partnership ensuring United Patni cross the victory line. Both the batters chipped with crucial cameos in the death overs as United Patni won the semi-finals by 2 wkts.
