Two Back to Back Wins for Straight Drive Cricket Academy in JKS One Day Triangular Trophy’22

In the match vs Diet Club at Jagannath Krida Sankul at Badlapur, Diet Club opting to bat first posted a total of 92/7 in 15 overs. Wicket-Keeper Amol Modak top scored with 41 runs off 32 balls coming at no.4 while the rest of the batters found it difficult to get going.  Skipper Kaustubh Paranjape and Chirag Suvare were the pick of the lot bagging 2 wkts each. Kaustubh took 2/15 alongwith a maiden while Chirag took 2/9 in in their respective spell of 2 overs.

Straight Drive Cricket Academy in reply chased down the score easily winning the match by 6 wkts and 2.1 overs to spare. Opener Giridhar (36 runs) and Varun (22 runs) top scored while Captain Kaustubh played the finishers role clearing the victory line with a six.

Straight Drive Cricket Academy won the match by 8 wkts and Kaustubh Paranjape was declared “Man of the Match”

In the match vs Vihaa XI, Vihaa XI opting to bat first scored 92/6 in 15 overs wherein opener Dinar Desmukh top scored with 27 runs off 24 balls. From the bowlers, Ruchi Rane was simply amazing with the ball returning with envious bowling figures of 4/10 in 3 overs. Ruchi provided timely breakthroughs including crucial wickets at the middle order ensuring Vihaa XI gets restricted into a chaseable total.

Straigh Drive Cricket Academy in reply chased down the score winning the match by 6 wkts and 3.1 overs to spare. Despite a shaky start, skipper Kaustubh Paranjape (32* off 30 balls) and Devendra Rane (25 off 28 balls) ensured a smooth chase for their team.

Straight Drive Cricket Academy won the match by 6 wkts and Ruchi Rane declared Man of the Match for her spell of 4 wkts.
