Twin Half Centuries for Power-Hitter Zain in ECI Spain’24

In the opening match vs Spain, Spain batting first at Montjuïc Olympic Ground, Barcelona made 137/6 in 10 overs with Sheraz Iqbal at the middle order hitting a half century. Chasing 138, Italy chased down the score successfully in mere 9.4 overs winning the match by 6 wkts. Courtesy a match winning half century by Zain Naqvi who proved to be the game changer. Zain coming at no.4 went all guns blazing as he scored 58* off mere 17 balls which included as many as 9 big sixes taking his team home in a commanding fashion.

In the 2nd match which followed, Italy batting first scored 131/8 in 10 overs and it was again Zain scoring a ferocious half century. Zain scored an impressive 60 off mere 24 balls spanking 7 sixes at an envious strike rate of 250.00! However, in the 2nd match Spain chased down the score in 7.4 overs winning the match by 8 wkts on the back of opener M Babar’s blazing half century.

Zain Naqvi who has made a name for himself as one of the destructive top order batsmen in European Cricket continues to live by his reputation as he spanked two impressive half centuries vs Spain in the ongoing ECI tournament.
