Even though they lost their openers early, it was their no.3 Shafik Maniyari who owned the day with some unbelievable batting display! Shafik was in a different zone altogether as he plonked each and every bowler to every corner of the ground going on to score an unbeaten 140* off 58 balls. Shafik not only registered the first hundred of DPL Season VI but also scored one of the highest individual scores in DPL history as he smashed 15 boundaries and 10 sixes en-route his unbeaten century.
Shivneri Warriors in reply were all out for 112 runs in 17.1 overs thanks to a brilliant spell by Shrenik Lavate who took 3/9 in 4 overs. Apart from him, Ajit Bhinge (3/28) and Ganesh Tikone (2wkts) also chipped in well as Torna Tigers won the match by a big margin of 108 runs.
