Stars XI opting to bat first at One Champion 2 Ground in Hyderabad, Telangana made a massive total of 244/4 in 20 overs. Opener Ravi Tez gave a decent start while Tarun Sharma who came at no.3 played a crucial knock of 40 runs off 30 balls (6 fours) stitching a crucial partnership of 52 runs with Ravi and partnership of 60 runs with Ramsai. Tarun who just returned from an injury looked in good shape as he spent decent amount of time at the crease while also getting involved in 3 partnerships.
