Tarun’s 44 goes in vain as Mitchell Martin India become the Runners Up in TS HYD Cricket Championship’24

Into the all important finals of the tournament where both the teams gave their best to reach at the top, Versatile XI opting to bat first were all out for 137 runs in 20 overs. From the bowlers, Prem and Captain Vivek G were the pick of the lot for Mitchell Martin India. Prem took 4/16 while Vivek took 2/16 in their 4 over spells respectively.

Chasing 138, Mitchell Martin India were all out for 129 runs in 19.5 overs. Both the teams gave a tough fight to each other as match remained exciting till the very end. Tarun Sharma at no.3 almost pulled it off for his team with a 40 ball 44 (5 fours and a six) including a crucial 55 run stand for 3rd wicket with Sikandar but Mitchell Martin collapsed post their wickets which ultimately resulted in Versatile XI winning the finals by 8 runs.
