Tarun Sharma top scores in the match for Stars XI in One Champion Plate 16 Tournament’23

Columbia Classic opting to bat first at One Champion 2 Ground in Hyderabad, Telangana made a total of 179/7 in 20 overs with Narendra Hirwani at the middle order top scoring with 46 runs while rest of the batters chipping in with cameos. From the bowlers, Anupam Sharath with 2/25 was the pick of the lot.

Stars XI in reply could only manage 140 all out in just 15 overs with Tarun Sharma at no.3 being the top scorer in the match. Tarun and opener Pradeep R (41 runs) put on 92 runs together and at one stage they were sailing through until rest of the batters below Tarun collapsed. Tarun scored 59 off 37 balls which included 9 fours and a six even though his efforts went in wain as Columbia Classic won the match by 39 runs.

Tarun in his previous outing also fared well scoring a quick 34 which included 2 sixes as he played the finishers role for his team with perfection!
