Shivaji Park Warriors opting to bat first at Oval Maidan in Mumbai made a massive total of 280/6 in 20 overs. Captain Hardik Tamore and Suved Parkar opening the innings took the game to an altogether another level thanks to a blazing 153 run opening stand in mere 11.5 overs. Hardik scored a 37 ball 68 while Suved Parkar went on to score a massive 137 in mere 59 balls which included 17 boundaries and 8 sixes. Striking at an impressive 232.00, Suved registered the highest individual score of Mitsui Shoji T20 Tournament this season.

Bandra Heroes in reply managed to score 203/9 in 20 overs with Sachin Gupta being the pick of the lot taking 3/39 in 4 overs. Shivaji Park Warriors won the match by 77 runs. Suved Parkar declared ‘man of the match”

In the other match between Mumbai Police City Riders vs Thane Marathas. Mumbai Police batting first at Air India Sports Club Ground in Mumbai managed to score 97/8 in 20 overs with Atif Attarwala (2/17) and Ajinkya Belose (2/22) being the pick of the lot. It was a disciplined bowling performance from Thane Marathas bowlers keeping the batters in check.

Thane Marathas in reply chased down the score in just 9 overs winning the match by 7 wkts. Viraj Jadhav opening the innings scored a quickfire 54 off 28 balls smashing 9 boundaries and 2 sixes at a strike rate of almost 193.00.
