Star Players Mandeep Singh and Suved Parkar set grounds ablaze in Day 6 of Mitsui Shoji T20 Tournament’25

Thane Marathas after being put to bat first at Air India Sports Club Ground in Mumbai made a total 171/9 in 20 overs. Siddhant Adhatrao at no.3 scored 32 runs while Captain Ajinkya Belose at middle order scored an unbeaten 29* off 17 balls which had 3 sixes in it! From the bowlers, Nishant Trivedi and Yaseen Shaikh bagged 2 wkts each.

Chasing 172, Bandra Heroes were off to a flying start with openers Amit Chauhan and Mandeep Singh putting on 98 runs in 11.2 overs. Amit scored a solid 54 off 42 balls while Mandeep scored a quickfire 43 off 27 balls which set the tone for the chase.

It went till the final ball almost where Bandra Heroes ultimately won the match by 4 wkts, Amit Chauhan declared ‘man of the match”

In the match between Shivaji Park Warriors vs Ghatkopar Jets, Shivaji Park Warriors batting first on Air India Sports Club Ground made a total of 230/3 in 20 overs. Opener Suved Parkar continued his wonderful form with the bat registering his 2nd successive back to back century in Mitsui Shoji T20 Tournament. Suved scored a magnificent 118 in mere 62 balls which had 11 boundaries and as many as 8 sixes striking at an impressive 190.32!

Ghatkopar Jets in reply scored 199/8 with most of their batters getting starts but not able to convert or anchor the chase till the end. Siddarth Akre’s 40 was the highest score while from the bowlers Aashray Sajnani and Sachin Gupta bagged 2wkts each as Shivaji Park Warriors won the match by 31 runs.
