Played at CAP Siechem Cricket Ground-2, CAP U19 Men’s Team opting to bat first posted a total of 186/10 in 76.5 overs. Most of the batters got off to starts but could not convert their starts into substantial individual scores. Akshay Jain was the pick of the lot returning with excellent bowling figures of 3/22 in 18.5 overs. Akshay once again proved he is a player who perform across formats coming up with a stunning economy of 1.16 in his spell of 19 overs. What’s more his spell also included 9 maidens.

CAP Secretary XI in reply made a total of 282 in 106.4 overs taking 1st innings lead of 104 runs. CAP U19 batted for 23 overs in the 3rd innings losing 3wkts for 100 runs before the match ended in draw. Akshay ended the match with 4wkts in his kitty while CAO Secretary XI won the match on 1st innings lead.
