Spider Cricket Academy reaches finals while Dream XI VCA wins the finals of U14 Spider Cup’24

Spider Cricket Academy opting to bat first at Chiklikhar Ground in Palghar made a total of 171/10 in 35.2 overs. Shahid Khan who came at no.3 fought it out alone smashing a brilliant 94* off 88 balls which included 8 boundaries. Shahid absorbed pressure even when wickets were falling from the other end. From the bowlers, skipper Aayush Shinde with 3/32 in 8 overs was the pick of the lot.

Dream XI VCA chased down the score successfully winning the match by 7 wkts. Opener Vidhiraj Shukla anchored the chase with an unbeaten 87* off 116 balls while also stitching a match winning partnership with Aayush Shinde. Aayush scored 67 off 76 balls coming at no.4 as Dream XI VCA crossed the victory line in the 38th over winning the finals by 7 wkts.

Aayush Shinde for his all-round performance was declared ‘man of the match”. Spider Cricket Academy who fought well throughout the tournament ended as runners up while its an amazing initiative by Udayan Shukla – the Founder of Spider Cricket Academy in organizing the U14 Spider Cup successfully which gave platform to numerous aspiring young cricketers to showcase their talent.
