Southpaw Jayy Jain stars for Mumbai with a Thumping Century in U23 Col CK Nayadu Trophy’25

After consistently delivering performances one after another in Mumbai’s Top Division Club Circuit, there seems to be no stopping for youngster Jayy Jain as he scores a important ton for Mumbai in the ongoing U23 CK Nayadu Trophy’25.Played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Mumbai opting to bat first were all out for 155 runs with Manan Bhatt scoring half century.

Rajasthan in 1st innings made 224 runs in reply taking a lead of 69 runs in the game.It was time for Mumbai to come back in the game in 3rd innings of the match and they rightly came back scoring 384 runs in 2nd innings powered by Jayy Jain’s valuable century.

After a solid start by Angkrish (76 runs) and Sumeir (47 runs), Jayy coming at no.3 pounced on the positive momentum left by the openers to take Mumbai into a defendable position. Jayy scored a brilliant 121 off 141 balls which included 12 boundaries and 2 sixes as rest of the batters batted around him. With a target of 316, it will be interesting to see how the match turns out with Rajasthan currently 32/2 at the end of the game’s play.
