Soham Bende’s all-round show guides Navi Mumbai Police CC to a win in C Division Times Shield’24

B. Arun Kumar CC opting to bat first at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai made a total of 183/9 in 41.1 overs on the back of opener Janak Bhoir’s gritty half century. From the bowlers, all-rounder Soham Bende was the pick of the lot taking 3/7 in 2.1 overs including a game changing hat-trick while Nilay and Amit bagging 2 wkts a piece.

Navi Mumbai Police CC in reply chased down the score comfortably riding on half centuries by Soham Bende and Arun Ghogare. Both the openers stitched a 100+ opening stand which set the tone for the chase. Soham scored 58 off just 43 balls which included 8 boundaries while Arun scored a 39 ball 52 which included 10 boundaries as Navi Mumbai Police Cricket Club won the match by 4 wkts.
