After facing an initial collapse, wicket-keeper batsman Maulik Bharadwaj at the middle order resurrected the innings back for his team as he scored a gritty 59 off 38 balls which included 6 boundaries and 4 sixes. Apart from Maulik, Shirke at no.8 lent a crucial cameo of 20 runs as Pratapgad Royals reached a defendable total.

From the bowlers, Siddhant Purandare with 3/5 in 2 overs was the pick of the lot. Siddhant’s spell also included crucial wickets of Maulik and Shirke who were looking good at one stage to inflict damage in the death overs. Apart from Siddhant, Shwetketu and Girish bagged 2 wkts a piece.

Shivneri Warriors in reply chased down the score in 19.3 overs with almost every batter contributing with the bat. Ultimately it was their lower middle order consisting of Mayur Renake (27* runs) and Shrenik (12*) who finished off things for Shivneri as they won the match by 3 wkts.
