Siddhant Singh’s unbeaten 165* guides Automotive to a win in B Division Times Shield’26

Automotive Manufacturers Pvt Ltd A batting first at Police Gymkhana Ground in Mumbai made a massive first innings total putting up 459/8 dec in 99.3 overs. Opener Raj Waghela (76 runs) and Shubham Shinde (89 runs) at no.3 gave a perfect start to the innings while it was Siddhant Singh who top scored in the match with a brilliant century. Siddhant coming at no.5 went on to score a match winning knock of 165* in 143 balls which included 17 boundaries and as many as 8 sixes. It was Siddhant’s counter attacking batting which took Automotive to a strong and commanding position in the match.

Gr. Mumbai Police Sports Club B in reply scored 322/10 with Suraj Shinde scoring 98 runs. From the bowlers, Ashay Dube with 5/104 was the pick of the lot. Automotive batted for 27.1 overs scoring 181/4 in 2nd innings before the end of the game’s play where they won the match on 1st innings lead.
