Shivneri Warriors overpowers Raigad Pioneers on the back of Jagdish Sure’s all-round show in Designer Premier League’23

Raigad Warriors opting to bat first at Brilliants Academy Ground in Pune made a total of 118/10 in 18.3 overs. Shivneri Warriors bowlers showed great discipline restricting the opposition batters and not allowing them to score runs freely. Aaditya Gupta at no.3 fought it out alone scoring 49 off 32 balls. Aaditya scored grit and composure even when wickets were tumbling from the other end.  Skipper Jagdish Sure led from the front with the ball taking 4/24 in 4 overs. Nitesh Patel also bowled well taking 2/14 in 3.3 overs.

Shivneri Warriors in reply chased down the score comfortably winning the match in the 16th over itself. Openers Abhishek (29 runs) and Captain Jagdish gave a flying start putting on 94 runs. Jagdish owned the match with all-round show also scoring a brilliant 64* off 46 balls smashing 5 fours and 3 sixes at a strike rate of 139.13. Jagdish anchored the chase perfectly playing a captain’s knock for his team!
