Buxar DCA opting to bat first at Kaimur Cricket Ground were all out for 117 runs in 24.5 overs courtesy good bowling performance by Kaimur bowlers. Opener Nikhil K scored 50 runs while rest of the batters struggled to get going as Vikash Patel (4/24) and Diwan Khan (4/16) came up with crucial spells to rattle the opposition batters.

Chasing 118 looked like a mere formality for Kaimur batters on their home turf as in-form batter Shashank who already has 2 fifties and a century in his last 3 outings in this tournament took the game in his hands to finish it off in just 16.1 overs. Shashank Upadhay opening the innings scored 64* off 53 balls smashing 10 boundaries and a six while Raju Sharma playing the finishers role with a quick 9 ball 34* as Kamur DCA won the match by 8 wkts.
