Shahid Khan impresses with a brilliant 143 for Oxford Public School in Giles Shield’23

Oxford Public School opting to bat first at Azad Maidan, Mumbai made a total of 374/4 in 45 overs with their openers Saif Ali and Shahid Khan putting on a grand partnership of 170 runs for the first wicket. Opener Shahid Khan who has been in excellent form continued his purple patch as he went on to score a brilliant knock of 143 runs in 100 balls smashing 24 boundaries. Shahid dominated the bowlers with confidence covering almost every corner of the ground as he helped his team reach a dominating total on board.

St.Xaviers High School, Airoli in reply were all out for 43 runs as Oxford Public School Bowlers combined in tandem to rattle the opposition’s batting line up.

Result: Oxford Public School won the match by 331 runs, Shahid Khan declared ‘man of the match”
