U13 Homeground team opting to bat first at New Era, Azad Maidan made a total of 101/7 in 20 overs. Opener Ahaan Sharma top scored in the match with 35* off 48 balls batting from start to end while Yuvraj Merchant at lower order contributed with crucial 25 runs off 25 balls. From the bowlers, Shahid Khan with 3/18 in 3 overs was the pick of the lot.

U13 MIG in reply received a tough fight from Homeground Team almost getting them all out before they crossed the victory line by a margin of just one wicket left. Young and promising Yuvraj Merchant fought it out with a masterclass of a bowling spell as he returned with 6/22 in 4 overs including a maiden. It was indeed an heroic effort by Yuvraj however MIG had the upper hand with Kiaan finishing it off at middle order with 11* off 9 balls. Aryan Desai at no.3 top scored for MIG with 34 runs off 32 balls.

Result: MIG won by 1 wkt, Shahid Khan (15 runs and 3 wkts) declared ‘man of the match”
