Sachin’s brilliant 44 ball 94 goes in vain for Ruaraka Sports Club in NPCA T20 Super League’23

Sachin Gill

Swamibapa Sports Club after being put to bat first at Nairobi Jaffreys Ground in Nairbobi, Kenya posted a healthy total of 193/5 in 20 overs. Openers Rushab Patel (67 runs) and Alex Obanda (52 runs) were the top scorers smashing crucial half centuries. From the bowlers, N Hirani with 3/28 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot.

Ruaraka Sports Club in reply gave a tough fight but eventually fell short of 15 runs as they scored 178/8 in their 20 overs. Ruaraka’s prime batter Sachin Gill once again displayed his batting prowess scoring a majestic innings of 94 runs in mere 44 balls. Sachin smashed 6 fours and 8 big sixes at a strike rate of 214.00 however he lacked support from the other end to get things going as Swamibapa Sports Club won the match by 15 runs.

Sachin Gill who scored a brilliant 88 off 50 balls as well in his previous outing is certainly banging the doors of Kenya National Team as his stats in the last 12 months look completely unbeatable!
