Sachin Gill’s All-Round show helps Ruaraka A clinch a win over Nairobi Gymkhana in NPCA Super Division 50 Overs League’23

Nairobi Gymkhana A after being put to bat first at Ruaraka Sports Club Ground in Nairobi made a total of 156/10 in 39.4 overs with their Captain Dominic top scoring with 48 runs. From the bowlers, All-Rounder Sachin Gill was amongst the lead bowlers taking 3/31 in 9 overs including a maiden. Apart from Sachin, Ruaraka Skipper Nitish Hirani also chipped in with 2 wkts in his spell of 4.4 overs.

Chasing 157 looked like a cakewalk for Ruaraka Sports Club as they finished off the match in mere 19.4 overs with half centuries from Sachin Gill and Pushkar Sharma. Opener Pushkar remained not out on 72* off 64 balls while Sachin Gill who came at no.3 played the aggressor role as he smashed 58* off mere 37 deliveries which included 5 fours & 4 sixes.

Sachin and Pushkar also stitched an unbeaten 111 run stand for the 2^nd wicket as Ruaraka Sports Club won the match by 9 wkts. Gill for his all-round show was declared ‘man of the match”
