Sachin Gill fifer dents Stray Lions A Team in NPCA Super Division 50 Overs League’23

Ruaraka A team after being put to bat first at Nairobi Jaffrey Sports Club in Nairobi, Kenya made a total of 247/10 in 49.1 overs. Maxwell Swaminathan at the middle order was the top scorer with 94 runs off 86 balls while rest of the batters chipped in with starts. Defending a total of 248, Stray Lions A were restricted successfully under their total all courtesy to Ruaraka’s prime all-rounder Sachin Gill.

Sachin who has excelled both with the bat as well as with the ball in Kenya Cricket since last two seasons continued to stamp his presence this time with a spell of 5/56 in 10 overs including a maiden. Sachin pocketed all the top 5 batters of the opposition team restricting Stray Lions A to 168 all out and helping Ruaraka ‘A’ team win the match by 79 runs.
