Rudra’s solid 68 goes in vain vs Jain Irrigation in MCA Corporate Trophy’24

Jain Irrigation opting to bat first at Police Gymkhana Ground in Mumbai made a total of 140/10 in 20 overs with half century by Suved Parkar. From the bowlers, Vidyadhar Kamath, Salil and Sagar Jadhav bagged 2 wkts each.

Central Railway Sports Association in reply could’nt chase down the total as they fell short by 19 runs at the end of their innings. The batters could’nt keep up with the strike rate required as Jain Irrigation bowlers got the upper hand. Rudra Dhanday opening the innings fought it out alone scoring a gritty 68* off mere 50 balls. Rudra batted from start to end smashing 5 fours and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 136.00 however he lacked support from the other end as Jain Irrigation won the match by 19 runs.
