Raza Mirza’s 154 guides SPG to a win while Alsaadh Sheikh smashes a gritty half century in MCA Young Comrade Shield’25

Shivaji Park Gymkhana batting first at Sainath Sports Club in Virar made a total of 358/4 in 70 overs. Raza Mirza opening the innings scored a brilliant knock of 154 runs in 198 balls which included 11 boundaries and 3 sixes. Raza also stitched a 194 run stand for 4th wicket with Roopkumar Yadav who scored 103 runs off 141 balls.

Muslim United Sports Club in reply were all out for 207 runs in 48.1 overs with no.3 batsman Alsaadh Sheikh scoring a half century. Alsaadh scored a gritty knock of 51 runs in 76 balls which included 7 boundaries and 2 sixes. This is Alsaadh’s 2nd back to back good score in Young Comrade Shield. The rest of the batters found it difficult to get going as Shivaji Park Gymkhana won the match by 151 runs.
