Rajlaxmi Nikam – A Young Prodigy rising through the Ranks in Maharashtra Women’s Cricket

Maharashtra is popular its sports and more specifically for cricket, over the years many players from Maharashtra and Pune have went on to represent Team India. The players toil hard from a young age to make it to the top.

One Such young prodigy is Rajlaxmi Nikam who is a right arm medium fast bowler making her talent noticed in Maharashtra Cricket. Rajlaxmi is a promising all-rounder and she is already a part of Maharashtra U15 and U19 probable camps.

At such a young age, Rajlaxmi already clocks impressive speed of 95-100kmph and she is constantly working on her game. In the recently organized Senior Women’s T20 Tournament organized by Maharashtra Cricket Association, she turned heads with some exceptional performances including a fifer. In the Vilas vs Latur Match, Rajlaxmi took 5/5 in 4 overs including a maiden. She also took an impressive 3/36 in 7.3 overs vs PBKJCA in the U19 Invitation game.

Rajlaxmi trains at Brilliants Sports Academy in Pune and she aims to represent Maharashtra Senior Team followed by making her debut for Team India.
