Rahul Yadav’s 67 ball ton helps Rising Ravi XI successfully chase down 300+ total in One Day Game

Played at MBR Cricket Ground in Hyderabad, VAMCS XI after being put to bat first posted a total of 306/10 in 45 overs. Sami at no.3 top scored with 52 runs off 62 balls while opener Jai Krishna Pal (41 runs) and T Vivek (46 runs) also provided crucial contributions. From the bowlers, Muthyam and Vivek with 3 wkts each were the pick of the lot.

Rising Ravi XI in reply chased down the score successfully winning the match by 2 wkts and 5.2 overs to spare. Even though they lost both their openers early, the talented No.3 batsman Rahul Yadav impressed one and all with his attractive strokeplay as he anchored the chase with a brilliant 100 off just 67 balls. Rahul took on the bowlers head on smashing 17 boundaries and a six while also stitched a crucial stand with Shiva who scored 46 runs at no.4. Manik at no.8 also played a very crucial cameo as he scored 67 runs off 47 balls as Rising XI won the match by 2 wkts.
