Pacemen Harshil strikes with crucial blows as Barking CC defend their low total in Essex League’24

Barking CC after being put to bat first at Mayesbrook Park were all out for 148 runs in 48.3 overs. The rest of the batters got starts and cameos while Sheraz Shreyar at no.3 being the top scorer scoring 30 off 32 balls.

Defending a low total, the pressure was certainly more on the defending team but Barking CC did a fabulous job of restricting Wickford CC to 141 all out in 43.3 overs. Left Arm Pacer Harshil Doshi was the pick of the lot taking 3/36 in 6 overs taking some key top order wickets. Harshil who just came fresh from an impressive spell in his previous outing clean bowled two batters out of his 3 wkts while Saad and Aaron chipping in with 2wkts each as Barking CC won the match by 7 runs.
