Opener Rahul Yadav smacks a match winning 114 for Xtreme Smashers | Hyderabad

Played at MPS Cricket Ground in Hyderabad, Telangana, Strikers XI opting to bat first posted a total of 199/5 in 20 overs. Naresh at no.3 top scored with 107*off 56 balls while rest of the batters batted around him. From the bowlers, Kiran with 2/26 was the pick of the lot in 4 overs.

Chasing a mammoth total of 200 in the 2nd innings is always a difficult task but Xtreme Smashers made it look easy courtesy their talented opening batsman Rahul Yadav who scored a game changing hundred. Rahul went all guns blazing taking on the bowlers single handedly as he went on to score a superb 114* off 55 balls which included 15 fours and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 207.27!

Such was the domination showed by Rahul that even a total of 200 was chased down in a T20 with 2.1 overs to spare.

Result: Xtreme Smashers won the match by 6wkts, Rahul Yadav was declared ‘man of the match’
