Opener Nisar Shaikh smashes a Double Century in MCA Senior College Cricket Tournament’25

Played at Navroz, Azad Maidan, Bunts Sangha Mumbais Anna Leela College opting to bat first made a massive total of 471/4 in 37 overs. Opener Nisar Shaikh who trains at Elevate Cricket Academy played a blinder of an innings as he took on the bowlers from the word go smashing a match winning double hundred. Nisar went on to score a brilliant knock of 200 runs in mere 105 balls which included as many as 30 boundaries and 7 sixes. Striking at almost 191.00, Nisar displayed great batting prowess while he was ably supported by Avinash (41 runs) and Arman Pathan (85 runs).

KV Pendharkar College in reply were all out for 77 runs with Huzaif L Shaikh taking 5/14 in 4.3 overs including a maiden as Bunts Sangha College won the match by 394 runs. Nisar Shaikh for his impressive double ton was declared ‘man of the match”
