Opener Mukesh Gilada’s quick 86 goes in vain as Screaming Skulls lose by a close margin in MVL Premier League’23

Screaming Skulls opting to bat first at MPS Cricket Ground in Hyderabad, Telangana made a healthy total on board posting 200/2 in 20 overs. Opener Mukesh Gilada, known for his aggressive strokeplay stayed true to his reputation scoring a quickfire 86 off just 40 balls which included 7 fours and 7 sixes at a strike rate of 215.00. Apart from Mukesh, Srikar at middle order scored 61 off 27 balls.

FCC Shamshabad chased down the total in just 16 overs courtesy a century by their opener Shubham and an unbeaten half century by Ismail as they won the match by 7 wkts.

Mukesh shared with Zoomcricket.in “It was a great match where both the teams gave their best. However, we made some errors including wrong decision of the Captain to bat first. Seeing the past records on this ground & also because no other bowler supported we eventually lost the game..”
