Opener Karan Vashodia strikes with a solid half century for CGST in the ongoing A Division Times Shield’25

CGST & C.EX Mumbai Zone after being put to bat first at Vengsarkar Cricket Academy Ground in Mahul made a total of 256/10 in 58.4 overs in their 1st innings. Openers Rohan Marwaha and Karan Vashodia gave a perfect start to the innings putting on 89 runs for the 1st wicket. Rohan scored a quick 65 off 43 balls laced with 12 boundaries and a six. On the other hand, Karan who has made a comeback from an injury this season displayed his red ball temperament with a very solid looking knock of 74 runs in 112 balls which included 8 boundaries and 2 sixes. Karan top scored for CGST in the first innings.

DY Patil A in reply scored 391 runs in their 1st innings powered by a century by opener Pranav Kela. CGST in 2nd innings were all out for 205 runs giving a target of 65 runs to DY Patil which they ultimately chased it down in 10.1 overs and won the match by 9 wkts.
