Opener Akhil Herwadkar registers another fine half century in BPCL’s drawn encounter with Mumbai Customs in A Division Times Shield’25

Played at Parsee Gymkhana Ground in Mumbai, Mumbai Customs after being put to bat first made a total of 362/4 dec in 55 overs. Left-handed Vikrant Auti scored a century while Prasad Pawar at no.4 scored a half century. From the bowlers, Praful Devkate with 2 wkts was the pick of the lot.

BPCL in reply only got to bat for 22 overs before the end of the game’s play where their score was 180/2 with opener Ayush Mhatre still unbeaten at the end of the day. Akhil Herwadkar opening the innings registered a solid half century scoring 58 off 64 balls (10 balls) which stitching a brilliant 156 run opening stand with Ayush Mhatre who scored a century.

Result: The Match ended in a draw.
