Opener Rudra Dhanday top scored in the match with a solid century smashing 134 runs off 159 balls laced with 20 boundaries and a six. The rest of the batters batted around him chipping in with 30’s as they successfully managed to cross the 300 run mark. From the bowlers, Kartik Mishra with 4/35 was the pick of the lot.
Cricket Club of India in reply were all out for 192 runs with their mainstay opener Akhil Herwadkar and all-rounder Akash Parkar scoring fighting half centuries. Akhil scored a well crafted 53 off 71 balls but wickets kept tumbling from the other end till Akash arrived at no.4 to revive a fight with a 91 ball 70 for CCI. Left arm pacer Amol Tanpure with 4wkts was the pick of the lot as Mumbai Police Gymkhana won the match by 115 runs.
