Nishanth Yadav’s unbeaten half century steers Telangana to a win in 34th All India Postal Cricket Tournament’23

Maharashtra opting to bat first at Rising Rajasthan Cricket Academy Ground in Jaipur made a total of 139/8 in 20 overs with opener Nikhil K scoring half century. Telangana bowlers did a fine job with V Vijay being the pick of the lot taking 4/24 in 4 overs.

Chasing 140 at 7 runs per over, Telangana did lose some early wickets but it was the run machine Nishanth Yadav at no.4 and Linhala Naveen K at no.5 stitching a match winning partnership of 96 runs for the 4th wicket which did the job for Telangana. Nishanth scored a very matured innings of 50* off 42 balls (3 fours and 1 six) while he was well supported by Naveen (46*) as Telangana crossed the victory line the final over winning the match comfortably by 7 wkts.
