Avengers Cricket Club opting to bat first at Kings Sports Club Ground in Pune made a total of 160/8 in 20 overs. Opener Y Shukla top scored with 62 runs off 43 balls while Nikhil Jain at the middle order once again delivered the goods smashing a quickfire 41 off 28 balls during the crunch death overs. Nikhil smashed 4 fours and 2 sixes at a strike rate of almost 150.00 as he helped his team reach a respectable total on board.

Techstars in reply did manage to give a fight but ultimately fell short in the penultimate over as they scored 152/8 in their quote of 20 overs. Techstars faced a top to middle order collapse that even Parth’s half century and lower order batter Vivek’s 25 ball 43* did’nt seemed enough to cross the victory line. The bowlers did a terrific job with Suraj Jha and Nikhil Jain being the pick of the lot taking 2 wkts each. Suraj took 2/16 while Nikhil took 2/29 as Avengers CC won the match by 8 runs. Nikhil Jain for his all-round performance was declared ‘man of the match”
