Nikhil Jain’s Blazing 61 steers DPL Sinhagad Panthers to a win in Designers Premier League’22

Played at Brilliants Academy Ground in Pune, DPL Raigad Lions after opting to bat first posted a total of 164/7 in 20 overs wherein opener Abhishek Choudhari top scored with 49 runs off 30 balls. From the bowlers, Siddarth Purandare with 2/15 in 2 overs was the pick of the lot.

Chasing 165, DPL Sinhagad Panther’s strike batter Nikhil Jain once again displayed his game changing abilities. Fresh from a brilliant 99 in his previous outing, Nikhil Jain this time coming at no.3 scored a swashbuckling 61 off 26 balls smashing 7 fours and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 234.62. Nikhil was well supported by Siddarth Purandare who scored 31 off 33 balls.

Result: DPL Sinhagad Panthers won by 5 wkts, Nikhil Jain declared ‘man of the match’
