Nageshwar Rao half century powers Spartans CC clinch a 7 run win over Milwall Stars CC

Spartans CC batting first at ham Hainult Recreation Ground in UK made a total of 217/all out in 34 overs with Nageshwar Rao top scoring in the match with a gritty half century. Nageshwar scored a quickfire 53 off just 35 balls coming at no.4 while Ronak Patel (34 runs) and Harsha Reddy (19 runs) also provided handy cameos with the bat to push Spartans towards a defendable total.

Millwall Stars CC in reply did manage to give a tough fight but Spartans bowlers got the upper hand ensuring they won the match by 7 runs. Milwall Stars were restricted to 210/7 in 40 overs with Jaydeep being the pick of the lot taking 2/26 in 8 overs alongwith a maiden while rest of the bowlers also contributing well with their tight spells.

Sri Harsha captaining Spartans CC for the first time did a fantastic job leading the troop with a commanding 7 run win over Milwall CC.
