MCC’s Tanisha Gaikwad’s half century steers Bharat CC to a win in Mahim Juvenile Women’s League’25

Bharat Cricket Club opting to bat first at Shivaji Park Gymkhana in Dadar made a total of 139/8 in 20 overs. Left-handed opener Tanisha Gaikwad who trains at Mumbai Cricket Club by Jwala Singh single handedly anchored the innings with a match winning half century. Tanisha scored an impressive knock of 62 runs in 39 balls laced with 12 boundaries as she took her team towards a respectable total of 139 runs. From the bowlers, Mudra Khedekar with 3 wkts was the pick of the lot.

Sports Field Cricket Club in reply were all out for 125 runs as Bharat CC bowlers did a fine job restricting the opposition as they won the match by 14 runs. Tanisha for her solid half century was declared ‘man of the match”
